Workforce Interventions

According to WHO (2017), Work is good for mental health but a negative working environment can lead to physical and mental health problems.

A lot of recent studies have pointed out that people in stressful work surroundings tend to gain more weight, have more appointments related to both physical and mental health, and have higher rates of absenteeism. Stress from work impact their household life, mental health, and even increase risks for chronic illnesses.

Too much of stress and juggling between work and other aspects of life is making a person less creative, productive and unhappy. Sustaining brilliance requires an innovative and progressive skill set for supervising your most valuable reserve: your mind/brain. Keeping the above in mind, the Mind Research Foundation came up with Mindfulness based Programs for Mindfulness as work.

The key component of Mind Research Foundation’s Mindfulness based Programs is the concept of neuroplasticity (Link to 4 Pillars), which is the capacity of neurons and neural networks in the brain to change their connections and behavior in response to new information.
