The key difference between psychologists and psychiatrists is that while psychiatrists diagnose issues and give medication (if required), psychologists use different techniques to handle various kinds of issues, and help clients through the process. Counseling is provided to those suffering from general life issues leading to problems in their day-to-day life and is a short-term process. It’s best for those who have an idea of well-being and are able to solve their problems.

Our team takes both online and in-person sessions depending on your preference. Yes, we offer online provision of services for individuals who prefer remote sessions. It’s a convenient and effective way to receive mental health support. However, we recommend coming in person for children, couples, and families as it is very difficult to create a personal connect over a screen.

You can book an appointment with our psychologists either via phone at 08095967889  or via our Book Appointment page. Walk-ins are not preferred as we might have a full schedule and we don’t like to turn you away or keep you waiting. We also accept referrals from healthcare providers, corporates, schools, and other sources.

Yes, we prioritize confidentiality. We adhere to strict privacy regulations, and your personal information is kept confidential, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to you or others.

Therapy sessions typically last 45-60 minutes, but the duration may vary based on individual needs and treatment plans.

We offer various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy ( MBCT ) dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and more, depending on your needs.

During your initial appointment, you’ll meet with a clinician to assess your concerns, gather information, and work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. On the day of your appointment, you have to fill out an intake form and you will have an intake session of 30-45 minutes for your preferred psychologist to get to know you better. Once that’s done, you can book your next appointment as recommended by your psychologist. Usually, sessions are recommended once a week.

Apart from our in-take session which lasts around 30-45 mins, every other session lasts around 50 mins to an hour.

The timeline for improvement varies from person to person. It depends on factors like the nature of the issue, your commitment, and the effectiveness of the treatment plan. Your therapist will discuss expectations with you.

We offer family therapy and can provide guidance on how to support your loved one. Encouraging them to seek help and showing empathy can be very beneficial.
